A szerzőről és az illusztrátorról:

Evie Daye (Emily Daluga) író, a Chronicle Books szerkesztője. Amikor épp nem dolgozik, imád hangulatos kávézókba kuckózni és írni, a párjával musicaleket nézni, nagyokat sétálni a városban, és rossz horrorfilmeket túlemezni. Jelenleg Brooklynban (New York) él.

Ana Sanfelippo 1982-ben született Buenos Airesben, jelenleg Madridban él és alkot. Illusztrátor, grafikus, mintatervező, betűművész és nagy macskabarát. A Buenos Aires-i Egyetemen tanult designt és tipográfiát, ahol 14 évig tanított is. Könyveit világszerte kiadták, az egyiket az IBBY (Gyermekkönyvek Nemzetközi Tanácsa) is beválogatta a kiemelkedő művek közé. Betűtervezőként munkái a Google Web Fonts kínálatában is megtalálhatók. Főként papírral, gouache festékkel, markerekkel és ceruzával dolgozik. Kompozícióiban előszeretettel jelenít meg kíváncsi karaktereket, élénk színeket és természettel teli, dinamikus tereket.

EVIE DAYE (Emily Daluga) is a writer, editor at Chronicle Books and aspiring crossroads demon. When she’s not working, she loves to hole up in cozy coffee shops to write, see musicals with her partner, take long walks through the city, and overanalyse bad horror movies. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

ANA SANFELIPPO was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1982, and currently lives and works in Madrid. She is an illustrator, graphic and pattern designer, letter artist, and a cats’ friend. Ana studied Design and Typography at the University of Buenos Aires, where she was an Illustration and Typography teacher for 14 years. She also made many illustration and calligraphy workshops. Ana has published books internationally in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, USA, Spain, England, and Switzerland, and one of them selected by IBBY as one of the ‘Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities’. As a typographer, some of Ana’s designs were published at Google Web Fonts and were exhibited at the Bienal Latinoamericana de Diseño (Latin American Design Biennial) and at Tipos Latinos (Latin Types). And finally, together with Ángela Corti and Laura Varsky, she founded the With Love from Argentina collective, in order to expand the Argentinian pattern design market. Ana mainly works with paper, gouaches, markers and pencils are materials. She likes to include curious characters and vibrant colours that live in dynamic spaces full of nature in her compositions.
