A rockzene legnagyobb kaméleonja és a kulisszák mögötti ember egyetlen lenyűgöző albumban!

Denis O’Regan, a zenei legenda, David Bowie hivatalos turnéfotósa ebben a páratlan albumban nyitja meg páratlan fotóarchívumát. O’Regan két világkörüli turnén is kísérte a sztárt, és több évtizedes, szoros kapcsolatot ápolt vele – senki sem fotózta többet Bowie-t, mint ő. Ahogy maga az énekes egyszer megjegyezte: „Denis, a rock and roll a véredben van.”

Az 1974-es londoni Olympic Studios ajtajától – ahol Bowie a *Diamond Dogs* című albumot rögzítette – egészen a 90-es évek hatalmas stadionkoncertjeiig, Denis teljes archívuma végre feltárul, és számtalan, eddig sosem látott kép kerül először a nyilvánosság elé. A *David Bowie by Denis O’Regan* képekben meséli el a zenész történetét, amit O’Regan saját, személyes visszaemlékezései tesznek teljessé erről a hihetetlen közös utazásról.

– Két arc, egy legenda: O’Regan nemcsak a színpadot uraló, zseniális showmant kapta lencsevégre, hanem a kulisszák mögött nevető, alkotó, esendő embert is.
– Egy életmű krónikája: Ritka, a karriert átfogó portré a chameleonic rocksztárról, olyan meghitt emlékekkel kísérve, amelyeket csak egy ikon és egy igaz barát oszthatott meg egymással.

“…one of the most stunning and possibly heaviest books in the Bowie canon.” — God Is In The TV

“His images are not just records, they are living archives, fragments of history with a capital H…He doesn’t just show; he frames, builds, lights without trickery, but with a sense of rhythm that feels almost musical.” — Eye of Photography

“The result is a rare, career-spanning portrait of the chameleonic rock star, featuring never-before-seen images and candid recollections from a man who knew Bowie as both icon and friend. It’s also a record of proximity: of what it means to move through life alongside an artist who refused to repeat himself.” — Interview magazine

“A book of images by David Bowie’s official tour photographer is every bit as mesmerising as you’d imagine.” —Loupe Magazine
